Frequently Asked Questions

 

  • In order to reserve your wedding date, a signed contract and 20% of your balance is to be paid down. The remaining 80% isn’t due until 30 days before your wedding. Our payment processor accepts all major credit cards.

    A discount up to $200 can be applied if you choose to pay your balance in cash, avoiding credit card transaction fees.

  • This is subject to availability. Once a date is booked for photo only, it is possible that the other half of our photo/video team may receive another booking on the same date.

    If our video team is still available when/if you decide to add it in, your invoice will be updated and the total will be due with your final wedding payment, 30 days before your wedding.

  • We estimate 6-8 weeks for full galleries and 2 weeks for engagement sessions. Times may vary during our busiest seasons from the Spring through Fall.

  • We have a full list of locations that we can choose from once your wedding date is booked! Let us know if you have a specific vision in mind!

  • Travel for sessions and weddings outside of East Tennessee is currently $50 per hour of travel. Overnight accommodations for weddings will be the responsibility of the client where applicable. Fees can be added to your wedding invoice.

  • Email bsloanphotography@gmail.com anytime for the fastest response! Never use social media for important wedding related messages.

  • We recommend booking up to 10 hours if you want us to stay for the entire reception. 8 hours works best for weddings with a fake send off or less details on the morning of the wedding.

  • Three months out from your wedding you will receive an email with a digital questionnaire that asks everything we need to know about your wedding plans and preferences.

    Once you are finished filling it out we will make a photo and/or video timeline draft for you and your wedding planner to review.

  • We bring all of the necessary flat-lay items with us on your wedding day. The only items you need to provide are your wedding bands, jewelry, extra flowers from your florist, and your invitation suite.
