8 Ways to Make Your Wedding Unique

Planning a wedding for all of the people you love most to enjoy can be daunting to say the least! It’s very easy to become overwhelmed and overlook the details that will set you apart while also preserving the traditions that we love. Here we have a few ideas to help you along with your wedding planning. We have 8 ideas for you to help make your wedding unique! Check out each of the following images from our real weddings so you can get a clearer vision of what you day could look like! Happy Wedding Planning!!

  1. Include your favorite FOOD

We have had everything at venues from wood fire pizza ovens and pretzel bars to traditional Moldovan food with homemade cakes and pastries that are to die for! Make your wedding menu something you will enjoy and your guests will be sure to love it!

2. Rent a cool getaway car, boat, or carriage.

These moments in a cool car make those exit pictures and drone shots amazing! Plus, you’ll have a driver to take you to your destination for the night!

3. Have fireworks at the end of the night.

Everyone loves a good fireworks show, why wait until the Fourth of July? Make your evening spectacular!

4. Hire a band

We have had the privilege of working with some awesome DJ’s but if your want a more relaxing, romantic feel for your reception, you can never go wrong with a live band!

5. Include a family heirloom in your detail photos.

With family heirlooms, your wedding will be the one and only with those items. We have seen the most beautiful jewelry passed down for the wedding day. We have also seen homemade tags sown into clothing added to bouquets as a reminder of those loved ones.

6. Show off your vows in unique ways!

Think of a calligraphy mirror or framed keepsake that display your vows at your reception and then to put in your home after you are married! We love this handwritten keepsake from Brittany Ivey Designs.

7. Add a neon sign

Give your guests a photo moment with your new last name or add a statement wall behind your head table at your reception. This is where your guests will want to come and visit you and you’ll be sure to have a good background no matter where your table is set up! After all you should be the center of attention!

8. Include your pet in your day!

We have so much love for those couples that include their family pet in their day! Gimme alll the dogs (Insert heart eyes for Maverick being at his paw-rents elopement in the mountains)

We would love to hear what you did at your wedding to make your day unique!
